Maxim Brylinsky

Maxim Brylinsky was born on April 6th, in 1985 in Lemberg (Ukraine). From 1991 to 2001 he studied under Oleksiv at the School of Music in Lemberg. Since 1999 he has attended the Music University in Vienna, as an exceptional talented student, where he attends Frischenschlager’s courses. In 1997 he got various scholarships at the Summer Courses held in Semmering (Germany), Bled (Slovenia), at the Mozarteum in Salisburg, at the Zurich Thyll-Durr Institution, at the Herbert von Karajan Centrum in Vienna and at the private Institution of Wolfgang Bosch.

Brylinsky placed second at the Stricharzh Competition (Lemberg, 1994) and was fourth at the Kotorovych International Competition for Young Violinists in Kiev (Ukraine, 1995). He won the Bled International Violin Competition (Slovenia, 1999) and the Gottfried von Einem Competition in Semmering (2000). In 2002 he was fourth at the Yehudi Menuhin International Violin Competition (Boulogne-sur-Mer, France).
