Wonbeen Chung was born in 1997 in Daejeon, South Korea. In 2017 she was a finalist of the International Violin Competition Henri Marteau. In 2019 she won the 2nd prize in the Postacchini international violin competition and in 2023 she won the 6th prize and special prize in the Carl Flesch International Violin Competition. Currently she is studying with Prof. Ingolf Turban in Munich.
