Myroslava Ivanchenko

Myroslava Ivanchenko was born on October 6, 1978 in Kyiv, Ukraine. In 1985 she was accepted to the prestigious Lysenko Music School for Gifted Children to study violin with Peter Bondas and Yaroslava Rivniak. In 1996, upon graduation from the school, she continued her studies at Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine under internationally renowned violinist Bogodar Kotorovich. In 1998 she was awarded the Full Scholarship and Assistantship to study at Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University, Dallas, Texas with distinguished teacher and artist Dr. Eduard Schmieder. Myroslava Ivanchenko has performed as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestra player in Ukraine, Holland, Germany, France and United States.

In 1996 she won Second Grand Prix in Pier Lantier International Music Competition (violin solo division), Paris. Myroslava Ivanchenko got her Masters of Music Degree in Violin Performance from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX , USA in May of 2002. After that, based on results of her audition, she was accepted to New World Symphony Orchestral Academy in Miami Beach, FL, USA . And she is still enrolled in this program.
