Fedor Rudin

Born in Moscow in 1992 into a family of musicians (his grandfather is in fact the well-known Russian composer Edison Denisov), Fèdor Roudine began playing the violin at the age of five. & nbsp;

In 1999 he entered the Conservatoire National de Règion in Paris where, under the careful guidance of Professor Larissa Kolos, he graduated at the age of eleven with the "Premier Prix" (First Prize). & nbsp;

In the following years Fèdor Roudine studied in Paris with Miroslav Roussine, Alexandre Brussilovsky and Svetlin Roussev until 2005, & nbsp; when & nbsp; he was admitted to the Musikhochschule of Cologne (Germany) & nbsp; in the prestigious class of Zakhar Bron.

Among his most important awards are & nbsp; the first prize & nbsp; at the International Louis Spohr Competition for Young Violinist in Germany at the age of twelve, the first prize & nbsp; at the Andrea Postacchini International Competition in Fermo ( Italy) in 2003 and the second prize at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition in 2007.

Nine years ago he first appeared on the scene with the Bulgarian National Orchestra, conducted by the brilliant Emil Tabakov. In 2004 he performed with the Basel Symphony Orchestra in Switzerland and in 2005 he played at the music festival “Un Violon sur le Sable” in Royan & nbsp; (France), directed by Jèrôme Pillement. A year later he performed with the Erfurt Philharmonic & nbsp; Orchestra (Germany) & nbsp; and recently, & nbsp; in 2009, & nbsp; wowed & nbsp; the audience during & nbsp; a concert with the Arpeggione Chamber Orchestra (Austria).

Fédor & nbsp; Roudine & nbsp; plays & nbsp; regularly in Paris in particular for & nbsp; La Comédie des Champs-Elysées, the Téâtre Mogador, the Salle Cortot and the Bastille Opera Amphitheater. In addition he & nbsp; in 2006 he performed at the & nbsp; Studio Le Regard du Cygne & nbsp; on the occasion of & nbsp; a concert dedicated to the & nbsp; legendary & nbsp; violinist Ivry Gitlis.

Fédor & nbsp; is also a passionate chamber musician: his experience in this field is in fact testified by numerous concerts and festivals in which he has participated, including the Primetemps des Jeunes Interprètes in Grenoble and the Rencontres Musicales de l'Abbaye de La Prée (France) in 2008, as well as the Brauschweig Classix Festival in Germany in November 2009.

His upcoming engagements & nbsp; include & nbsp; a concert at the Festival Les Heures Concertantes de Touraine directed by Alexandre Brussilovsky and, in & nbsp; October 2010, & nbsp; Fèdor Roudine will perform in a concert in Paris organized under the patronage of UNESCO . He will also play at the Brauschweig Classix Festival in Germany.

The young violinist is also the director and founder of the (instrumental) ensemble Virtuoses de Paris, & nbsp; founded & nbsp; in Paris in 2010.

Fédor & nbsp; Roudine has & nbsp; studied & nbsp; with celebrities including Jean-Jacques Werner, Claire Levancher and Alexandre Grandé and & nbsp; plays a copy of the “Kreuzer” Stradivarius created by & nbsp; famous Florian Leonhard.
