Sándor Devich - chamber musician (violin, viola), conductor, author of a book "What is string quartet?", an essay about "Pizzicato, syncopation and "behaviour"" and several studies about special musical and instrumental questions. Founding member and second violinist of the Bartók String Quartet 25 years long. Outstanding Artist of the Hungarian Republic, awarded with Unesco Prize. Since 1981 teaching at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music Budapest, giving masterclasses - among others - in Austria, Great Britain, Switzerland, Holland and Japan. Transcriptions for chamber music ensembles (Bartók, Liszt, Brahms, Beethoven etc.), new Hungarian edition of Bach Sonatas and Partitas for solo violin, Sonatas by Corelli, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms etc., Concertos by Mozart and O. Rieding, Paganini’s Barucaba Variations and Bartók's 44 duos. He joins the Jury of the "Premio Paganini" for the first time.
