On March 14, 2023, at the offices of the Premio Paganini in Genoa, the Examination Board concluded their review of the pre-selection calendar and procedures.

The letter extracted to determine the order of the candidates' performances during the pre-selections is the letter P.

Given the preferences expressed by the candidates, Buenos Aires will not be the venue for the pre-selections.
