Was there a specific moment or experience that made you realize you wanted to become a musician?

Yes, the moment I realized nobody claps after solving a math equation.

What do you hope to convey or make the audience feel during your performance?

Somewhere between crying and texting their therapist. That’s the sweet spot. The main thing keep them from running out screaming.

If you had to present yourself by playing a single piece from the entire repertoire, which one would you choose, and why?

The one piece that truly represents me? Probably the sound of me tuning — full of hope, slightly out of tune, and no clear plan where it’s going.
